CMH and OHSU are offering a Clinical Associate position which provides the opportunity to practice general radiology in our small community hospital on the northern Oregon coast.
As a general radiologist in Astoria your clinical responsibilities will include all modalities and interventional procedures. CMH utilizes Powerscribe 360 and Phillips iSite for their PAC¿s system, and Phillips for the US and interventional equipment. In addition, the hospital has 1.5T and 3.0T MRI scanners.

The Aortic Center Director provides strategic, clinical, operational, and academic leadership for a comprehensive, multidisciplinary Aortic Center dedicated to the full spectrum of aortic disease, including aneurysms, dissections, and genetic syndromes. The Director is responsible for program growth; quality and safety performance; care pathway standardization; multidisciplinary coordination (cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, cardiology, radiology, anesthesia, genetics, ICU); referral development; and academic output in both education and research. This position is within the GI & General Surgery Division and will have a focused commitment to General Surgery and Hernia Repair / Abdominal Wall Reconstruction at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
Primary responsibilities at OHSU will be in General Surgery, with a focus on Hernia Repair and Abdominal Wall Reconstruction. Clinical: This position serves primarily as a Critical Care Cardiologist, with inpatient duties that include medical management of patients with chronic or acute heart disease, managing critically ill patients with primary cardiac disorders, and performing cardiovascular procedures as an attending physician in the inpatient cardiology services areas (CVICU, CCU and consult service). In addition to inpatient service, to help improve patient access to cardiovascular care, this position will also have a limited ambulatory clinic in the general cardiology practice as well as supporting non-invasive cardiovascular imaging (echocardiography) services.

The successful candidate will be expected to establish, sustain, and grow an independent and/or highly collaborative, extramurally funded research program that bridges clinical microbiology with fundamental and translational investigation. Clinical responsibilities will include interpretation of all aspects of thoracic (CT/MR and radiographs) and cardiac imaging (CT and MR); as well as thoracic biopsies/aspirations. Familiarity with imaging of acquired and congenital heart diseases and imaging of minimally invasive techniques in the adult population is expected.
