Clinical. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated cardiologist, specializing in the care of patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and/or Cardiac Amyloidosis, within the Division of Cardiology and KCVI. This position will be expected to take a fair share of call, as assigned, with other faculty on nights, weekends, and holidays for the general cardiology service. The Division Head will assign clinical duties.
A CRNA is a member of the OHSU Professional Staff practicing in accordance with the respective bylaws. The CRNA shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The CRNA is expected to comply with scope of practice, other laws, regulations, OHSU policy, and other applicable professional standards of practice.

Clinical Responsibilities: As a full-time clinician, effort will be devoted to clinical activities and include a combination of ambulatory clinic sessions and EMG clinics in the OHSU Center for Health & Healing. At 1.0FTE, this will equate to 8 sessions per week. Clinical responsibilities will include interpretation of all aspects of thoracic (CT/MR and radiographs) and cardiac imaging (CT and MR); as well as thoracic biopsies/aspirations. Familiarity with imaging of acquired and congenital heart diseases and imaging of minimally invasive techniques in the adult population is expected. Familiarity with cardiac imaging in the pediatric patient population would be desirable. Participation in numerous excellent weekly interdisciplinary conferences is expected. Educational responsibilities will include teaching at all levels commensurate with a large academic center, including medical student, resident and fellow training.
