The Electrophysiology (EP) Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) works collaboratively with the EP physicians, residents, fellows, as well as support staff in the hospital and EP procedural space under the clinical supervision of the Chief of Electrophysiology.
Clinical: 100% of your time will be spent providing clinical support in the Electrophysiology inpatient service. Duties include the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with arrhythmias and heart rhythm related disorders, including atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and patients with cardiac rhythm devices. Support for outpatient services may be added depending on clinical need.

Clinical Responsibilities: As a full-time clinician, effort will be devoted to clinical activities and include a combination of ambulatory clinic sessions and EMG clinics in the OHSU Center for Health & Healing. At 1.0FTE, this will equate to 8 sessions per week. This position may serve as part of neurology attending in the OHSU Hospital inpatient ward and may also participate in the evening/weekend call coverage pool. The specific dates of rotations will be determined by mutual agreement between this position and the Chair of the Department.
