We're seeking a Clinician Educator to join our team!  This position will include both a continuity ambulatory practice and coverage clinic. The Clinical Site Director works collaboratively with the Advanced Education Program Director in Endodontics, the Division Head, and the Offices of Academic and Clinical Systems to provide endodontic clinical experiences for Advanced Education students during the 24-month advanced training curriculum.   The Clinical Site Director is responsible for the implementation of the clinical curriculum, and the provision of strategic and day-to-day operations and oversight of the Graduate Endodontic Clinic. In the role of faculty, the member will participate in the academic and clinical education of dental students and advanced education students, specific and general scholarly activity, research and service.    This position reports to (supervisor): Interim Division Head, Endodontology; Karan J. Clinical Responsibilities: - Working as a generalist in the areas of Diabetes. You will be expected to perform a total of 2-3 ambulatory clinic sessions per week; You will also be expected to attend on the inpatient endocrine consult service 2-4 weeks per year and take your fair share of night and weekend call, as assigned, with other faculty on nights, weekends, and holidays through the shared coverage of OHSU's consult line. Research Responsibilities: - The position will have protected time to assume current research grant projects, continue research that  have been transferred and secure grant funding. Educational Responsibilities: - OHSU is a teaching facility and you will be expected to teach medical students and residents in the clinical setting, as part of your Clinical duties above, as well as through assigned lectures to be given during the course of the year. The ACNP/PA will interface closely with the outpatient nursing and medical assistant team in a clinical and teaching capacity.

Clinical: Majority of your time will be spent clinically in Preventive Cardiology. The general clinical duties will include ambulatory clinics, approximately 6 weeks (generally 2 weeks each rotation) serving as an attending physician on the inpatient cardiology services (CCU or consult), as well as supporting non-invasive imaging, including ECHO, CT and MRI imaging, with a focus on patients with non-invasive subclinical atherosclerosis. Serving as an attending in our outreach programs may also be required depending on availability and the divisional needs. Providers are also expected to take a fair share of call.   Research: We expect providers in this role will be involved in clinical studies in collaboration with colleagues in the section, and will work to develop a portfolio of clinical research activities funded from external sources. Additional non-clinical time will be provided commensurate with funding to support that effort.   Education: As teaching is an important portion of the cardiology mission you will be responsible for the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.

Provide patient care and services in an outpatient ambulatory mental health setting. Work with culturally specific counselors to meet patient needs.   This position will perform other duties as assigned by IPP Medical Director.

The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, within the Department of Pediatrics of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Pediatrics specializing in the treatment of hematologic malignancies.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-fellowship experience in the care of complex hematologic malignancies; clinical experience in stem cell transplant and cellular therapy as well is strongly preferred.  The position will assume clinical care of children, adolescent and young adults with hematologic malignancies and administrative/leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Division Head; participate in fellow training and student/resident educational programs of the Department; serve on committees and councils of OHSU; participate in outreach and public service programs and professional societies with the knowledge and consent of the Chair; conduct collaborative clinical, translational, and/or health systems research at OHSU, and fund these efforts as necessary through grants and contracts.

As a member of the Division of Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases, in the Department of Medicine you will report to the Division Head, Clinical Director, and Division Manager; and will be expected to contribute in each of the following areas:   1. Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on divisional needs and your areas of expertise and interest, including opportunities to participate in and to serve on institutional committees.   2. Clinical care will be your primary assignment and will include: - Direct patient care in Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases outpatient clinics (may include a combination of digital and face-to-face clinics at Marquam Hill-Physicians Pavilion, Beaverton Clinic, Orenco Station (Hillsboro, OR) and/or other OHSU outpatient locations) with a minimum of six (6) clinics per week. - Adult rheumatology inpatient consult service for 2-3 months per year. Includes OHSU-only consult weeks (Monday-Fridays) and combined OHSU and VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS) weekend coverage. - Potential assignment of eConsults and other direct and indirect patient care divisional needs assigned by the Division Head and/or Clinical Director, should the need arise.   3. This position participates in the divisions teaching activities, including divisional conferences, student and fellow didactics and on OHSU committees as expected and approved by the Division and Department, including undergraduate medical education programs and School of Medicine graduate programs.   4. There are resources available for start-up research and on-going support via established processes and opportunities. Providing optometric eye care services and staffing support to General Ophthalmology and the Contact Lens Service at the Casey Eye Hood River and The Dalles satellite clinics. General Ophthalmology duties include support of general adult eye clinic.    Professional education: assist with professional education events and courses presented by ophthalmologists, optometrists and other allied health professionals.   Administrative tasks: complete required documentation such as care report forms; maintain patient records.

- Examine and assess patient's condition to best determine acupuncture treatment for their condition.  Performs and documents initial health history; performs and documents all sessions performed according to established guidelines; practice appropriate acupuncture techniques; communicates and explains procedures appropriate to client need and preferences. - Must maintain a general knowledge of acunpunture coding requirements.  Complete notes and maintain accurate documentation of treatment after each visit.  Maintain HIPPA compliance. - Present lectures on current literature regarding therapeutic benefits of acupuncture benefits and pain management to CPC staff and clininal providers.   - Develops educational material for CPC staff and patients. - Other duties as assigned by the Medical Director.

The Electrophysiology (EP) Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) works collaboratively with the EP physicians, residents, fellows, as well as support staff in the hospital and EP procedural space under the clinical supervision of the Chief of Electrophysiology.   Clinical: 100% of your time will be spent providing clinical support in the Electrophysiology inpatient service. Duties include the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with arrhythmias and heart rhythm related disorders, including atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and patients with cardiac rhythm devices. Support for outpatient services may be added depending on clinical need.   Specific duties include, but are not limited to: - Evaluation and management of patients with heart rhythm disorders - Management of patients pre, peri and post EP procedures - First assist in EP procedures - Assisting in generation of order sets and other tools to facilitate EP best practices - Management of patients with pacemakers and ICDs, including interrogation and programming - Management and monitoring of patients with pacemakers and ICDs undergoing clinically indicated MRI scans - Performing cardioversions and drug challenges independently - Providing sub-specialty feedback and clinical direction to residents, fellows, and inpatient staff to improve clinical and technical knowledge and serve as a mentor to students and junior staff members - Communicating effectively with a wide variety of team members (faculty/physicians, APPs, RN, MA, researchers), members of KCVI and other care providers and coordinators to provide excellent team-based care Education: OHSU is a teaching institution and as a faculty member, you are expected to provide mentorship and direction to students, residents, fellows and staff. Clinical 100%: GI attending responsibilities- - Approximately 20 work weeks (e.g., Monday through Friday) per year supervising the inpatient consult service - Weekend inpatient consult service, approximately 6 weeks per year - Ambulatory endoscopy and urgent GI clinic - Approximately 24 weeks per year; during ambulatory weeks responsible for 2 days of endoscopy per week and 1 day of ambulatory clinic per week. The ambulatory clinic will mostly focus on new and urgent outpatient referrals and urgent post-discharge follow-up care. - 2 days of administrative time each week during ambulatory weeks - During attending rotations, you will be expected to supervise Gl fellows, complete all inpatient Gl consultations, and perform endoscopic procedures on inpatients and complex outpatients at the hospital endoscopy unit or ICU.  During the attending rotation, you will not have other outpatient obligations and will receive full credit for the outpatient clinics. - 9 weeks of administrative and personal leave per year Appropriate Nursing support will be provided for all outpatient activities.
