The fellow will gain significant operative experience in all aspects of gender-affirming surgery and is expected to have prior ample experience in microsurgical, craniofacial and aesthetic surgery. Approximately 1 day a week is spent in the outpatient setting seeing patients in clinic, the other 4 days are spent in the operating room. 5 full time fellowship faculty specializing in gender-affirming surgery (3 plastic surgeons and 2 urologists) provides a robust surgical volume.
