This position will be joining a dynamic Center that focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular risk reduction through both collaboration with basic scientists and state-of-the art therapeutics. Training in the physiology and therapeutics of lipids, glucose metabolism, and inflammation preferred (such as a fellowship in Preventive Cardiology or Cardiometabolic Medicine). Clinical: 100% of time will be spent clinically as a Cardio-oncologist, working collaboratively with the Knight Cancer Institute. Duties will include medical management of cancer patients with chronic or acute heart disease, managing critically ill patients with primary cardiac disorders in an ambulatory setting. Performing consultation services, reading echocardiograms, participating in, and developing outreach programs as needed. Your primary role will focus on the development of our ambulatory general cardiology clinics and our inpatient cardiology consult service. and leading personnel on the service.

Clinical Responsibilities: As a full-time clinician, effort will be devoted to clinical activities and include a combination of ambulatory clinic sessions and EMG clinics in the OHSU Center for Health & Healing. At 1.0FTE, this will equate to 8 sessions per week. This position may serve as part of neurology attending in the OHSU Hospital inpatient ward and may also participate in the evening/weekend call coverage pool. The specific dates of rotations will be determined by mutual agreement between this position and the Chair of the Department.
