Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible diagnostic medical physicist to join a dynamic team of five physicists and two medical physics residents.
Our group provides high-quality, comprehensive support to Radiology and associated departments utilizing diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine equipment. Medical physicist duties include testing and ensuring the safe use of medical imaging equipment, the education of graduate students, staff, and residents in radiation physics, and the support of OHSU’s service, clinical, research, and educational missions.

OHSU is the state’s only academic medical center, providing opportunities to work on advanced equipment and participate in graduate and resident teaching. Our team is deeply involved in supporting the newly opened Molecular Imaging and Therapy clinic, assisting with personalized patient dosimetry for new molecular therapies. We also actively collaborate with physicians and technologists in the optimization of advanced modality protocols and incorporating new technologies into clinical use.
The full-time annual base salary for this position is $168,933 - $308,296; based on degree and certification. Base pay does not include hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions.
