  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient care, including pre- and post-procedural evaluations.
  • Contribute to the education of fellows, residents, and medical students.

Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities (Medical Director Role):

  • Provide leadership and direction for the operations of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
  • Oversee and improve clinical quality, patient safety, procedural efficiency, and staff performance in the cath lab.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, safety checklists, and quality metrics in alignment with national standards.
  • Lead morbidity and mortality reviews, case conferences, and peer review activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, institutional policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership on capital planning, equipment acquisition, and program development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, research, and innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a cath lab or comparable clinical setting.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric interventional procedures.
  • Experience with advanced interventions such as transcatheter valve implantation, hybrid procedures, or fetal interventions.
