Function/Duties of Position

Are you passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults? We invite you to join a supportive and collaborative team at Hillsboro Medical Center, an acute psychiatric facility dedicated to serving patients aged 50 and older. As a Geriatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in providing direct clinical care in a positive, team-oriented inpatient setting.

The Department of Psychiatry supports a fully accredited training program that promotes excellence in patient care, education, and clinical leadership.

 

We’re looking for: An experienced, licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the State of Oregon who enjoys working with older adults. Training and strong experience in Geriatric Psychiatry is preferred. Experience in acute care Geriatric Psychiatry would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, team-oriented clinician with a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and continuous improvement.
