The OHSU Library, the largest health sciences library in Oregon, serves the faculty, staff, and students of OHSU, as well as health professionals and residents of the State of Oregon. Our mission is to advance the effective, efficient, and ethical use of information in support of education, research, and healthcare. Working in collaboration with Library team members, peer managers, and leaders across the OHSU campus community, the Head of Learning and Information Services will lead the planning, development, and evaluation of the Library's educational and information services for OHSU's education, research, and clinical communities. This includes curriculum and instructional design, development, and assessment that supports institution-wide and program-specific information literacy learning outcomes; literature searching and reference support for research and clinical care; and citation and information management support. The Head of Learning and Information Services partners with stakeholders within and outside of the Library to envision, prototype, implement, and continuously improve solutions to emerging information and educational challenges and opportunities. The Head of Learning and Information Services is a member of the Library's management team, supervises an engaged team of faculty librarians, and reports to the University Librarian.
