The Comprehensive Pain Center (CPC) team includes physicians, psychologists, physical therapists, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, acupuncturists, rolfers, massage therapists, and a naturopath who deliver truly comprehensive care and offer more training opportunities for fellows and residents. Patients benefit from both traditional (e.g., blocks, pumps, stimulators) and non-traditional (e.g., biofeedback and acupuncture) pain management techniques. The department is also nationally recognized in pediatric pain management.
The acupuncturist will work within a multiprofessional team consisting of physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychologists to provide acupuncture for chronic and acute pain patients seen in the Comprehensive Pain Center. The CPC is an established practice and will provide a steady stream of referrals, but the practitioner must be independent and motivated to expand their practice.
This position will be located in the Center for Health and Healing, in a shared work space area that will require occasional ability to work with some interruptions and noise.
