OHSU Family Medicine is part of OHSU School of Medicine. OHSU Family Medicine is focused on family health. We provide preventive, primary and specialty care for you, your children, your spouse, your parents and your grandparents. Family Medicine strongly supports the comprehensive scope to provide the highest level of care for our community. The clinical work includes but not limited to all ages of life including newborn to end of life, and supporting patients with substance use disorder including medication-assisted treatment and gender affirming care. • The faculty member will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business point of view.
• The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship.
• The faculty member will be involved eight (based on 1.0 FTE may be less based on FTE hired into), half days with direct patient care, and the supervision of students and other university learners at the OHSU Family Medicine South Water Front clinic sites, which will include a mix of primary care and urgent care practice. A portion of a work day is provided for administration and scholarly activities. The expected work week for this position will be flexible with rotating Saturdays and some of the weekday hours would be in the evening.
• The faculty member will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business point of view.
• The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship as directed by their department. Previous work experience in primary care and urgent care is required.

• Current Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Oregon, State of Oregon Nurse Practitioner Prescriptive Privileges, and DEA certification.
• Current Physician Assistant license for the state of Oregon, Prescriptive privileges, and DEA certification.
