Department Overview

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the Chair of the Dotter Department of Interventional Radiology in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. 

 

 

Function/Duties of Position

The duties of this position are in support of the missions and objectives of OHSU, the School of Medicine, the Dotter Department of Interventional Radiology, and the Body IR Section. 

 

These include: the supervision of the faculty within the Section, leading a busy clinical practice, supervision of patient care activities, and guidance of education, participation in administrative committees, administration and research activities related to the Section.  

 

Responsibilities also include the full range of body IR diagnostic and interventional procedures with special focus on peripheral arterial disease; outpatient clinical practice; care of IR inpatients; call coverage of the Body interventional service in rotation with the other Body faculty. 

 

Care will be provided at OHSU as well as at the Portland VA Hospital as assigned by the Department Chair and Medical Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent 
  • Board Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology 
  • DEA Certification 
  • Unrestricted Oregon Board of Medical Examiners license
  • Receipt of medical staff privileges at OHSU
